Seville is located in the southern part of Spain, and it's absolutely beautiful! Seville is the capital and largest city of the Spanish Andalusia area. It is situated on the lower parts of the River Guadalquivir, in the southwest of the Iberian Peninsula.
What to expect with visiting Seville: bustling plazas, medieval vibes, and Game of Thrones feel at this Andalucía's capital.
The must see and do while your here:
Alcázar of Seville
Seville Cathedral
The Gerald
Torre del Oro
Maria Luisa Park
Plaza de España
Teatro de la Maestranza
Museum of fine arts of Seville
Guadalquiver River cruise
View the city on a horse drawn carriage

Things to know when planning your visit. Give yourself at least four full days. This will allow you to appreciate Seville's attractions without rushing around. If you plan to come in spring for the Feria de Abril, then add another day or two for this major cultural and very colorful event. For a week you'll never forget, you should definitely come when Semana Santa (Holy Week of Easter) is going on.
Getting around The city has a bus and metro system, and taxis are everywhere. Seville's main sights are also within easy walking distance. If you stay in Triana or simply want to explore the neighborhood, you'll find that metro and bus lines services that area too.
Where to stay in Seville The district of Santa Cruz is pretty central, and you'll be able to have everything you want to see in Seville at your fingertips. The district of Arenal is also a great option, as well as the former Jewish quarter of Triana across the river.
***We stayed at Hotel Alfonso XIII, which is one of the best! Once commissioned by the King of Spain to play host to international dignitaries during the 1929 Exhibition, Hotel Alfonso XIII is a Luxury Collection Hotel and remains an iconic cultural landmark. It's also centrally located in the historic quarter of Santa Cruz, next to Reales Alcázares and Seville Cathedral.
